LEARN ABOUT WHAT WE DO

Our education programme is designed
to provide students

WHY EDUCATION?

Large amount of communities living in remote areas in Pakistan have no access to quality education, neither can they afford it. Pakistan is facing a serious challenge to ensure that children particularly from the underprivileged areas attend school, and make progress to improve and spread education all across for a better future.

~22.8 million children (5-16 years)
do not attend schools in Pakistan
=
44% of the total population (5-16 years)

To take a step forward, HIF is committed to provide quality primary and secondary quality
education to the underprivileged communities in Pakistan.

STORYTELLING

Our storytelling initiative is a long-term on-going project by Hamid Ismail Foundation (HIF). Many government schools in the city operate using conventional teaching methods, while this project aims to engage students in an interesting manner that could help make them informed citizens. The notion is also to provide quality education that the students in government schools are often deprived from.

ASSURING QUALITY EDUCATION

HIF monitors the quality of its Educational Training Program through visits all around the year. These visits have been a good tool to monitor the educational activities. To gain better understanding regarding the current education structure, insights are collected from teachers and principals in order to devise a more focused and dedicated plan.
